Appointment: Full-time (part-time negotiable)

IamFluidics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR & Office Manager. As HR & Office Manager, you will operate at the intersection of HR, office, and facility management. In this diverse role, you will support our colleagues, optimize internal processes, and ensure a professional and pleasant working environment. You will be the first point of contact for employees, suppliers, and partners, as well as a trusted sparring partner for the management team. Your work will help keep our organization running smoothly and people-focused.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our organization — ensuring people feel supported, processes run smoothly, and the office feels like a place where everyone can thrive. From HR to daily operations, you’ll have a direct impact on the well-being of our team and the success of our mission.
HR responsibilities
• Manage HR administration, including contracts, absenteeism, and personnel files
• Handle incoming HR-related questions via the HR mailbox
• Improve and implement HR processes in line with Dutch legislation
• Lead the recruitment process and coordinate onboarding of new employees
• Act as a sparring partner to management on HR-related topics
• Perform monthly payroll checks and flag any inconsistencies
Office management responsibilities
• Serve as point of contact for facility partners and internal communications
• Order office supplies and maintain a clean, functional work environment
• Support purchasing and procurement processes
• Manage access passes, keys, and safety procedures (BHV)
• Organize team events, lunches, and internal gatherings
• Perform basic IT support (e.g. account access, laptop prep, Eduroam requests)
About you
Experience required
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar HR and/or office management role
• Proven track record in improving and implementing HR or operational processes
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing (tech) environment
• Experience advising or supporting management on HR-related topics
• Basic knowledge of the Dutch “Wet Poortwachter” is a plus
Skills and general requirements
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
